We have issued a weather advisory for strong winds and heavy rain for today into this evening.

A cloudy start with some mostly light and patchy rain at times. Through the day some more persistent rain will arrive which may also be heavy at times too.
Temperature 6’c to 8’c but rising to 10’c to 11’c towards dusk
Wind SE 35mph gusting to 52mph becoming WSW much later
Rainfall 15-20mm but locally up to 35mm

The heavy rain will clear away shortly after dusk to leave a mixture of broken cloud, scattered showers and few clearer spells.
Temperature 5’c to 7’c but closer to 9’c on windward coasts
Wind W or WSW 23mph gusting to 31mph
Rainfall 1-2mm (localised rainfall possible)

A bright or even sunny start but cloud will increase through the morning to bring a few scattered showers and these may become rather more frequent and heavy through the afternoon.
Temperature 10’c to 11’c
Wind WSW 17-24mph becoming SSW 24mph gusting to 32mph
Rainfall 2-4mm (localised rainfall likely)
