Latest forecast, October 12th
Rain at times, some of which will be rather persistent. It will feel cold despite the winds being much lighter than on recent days. Risk of low cloud and hill fog.
Temperature 11’c to 12’c
Wind E or SE 4-10mph becoming WSW 5-11mph for a time before turning ESE again later
Further spells of rain, some of which may turn heavy. It will start chilly but as a warm front surges northwards a much warmer pulse of air will cross the island. Hill fog is likely.
Temperature 11’c to 12’c but rising closer to 16’c later in the night
Wind SE 6-14mph becoming S 27mph gusting to 36mph later in the night
Another cloudy start with outbreaks of rain, some of which are likely to be heavy as well as low cloud and hill fog. As we move into the afternoon the rain will gradually clear to the east and this will allow some brighter spells to develop, possibly even some late afternoon sunshine breaking through.
Temperature 14’c to 15’c
Wind SSW 24mph gusting to 36mph becoming WSW 19-28mph during the afternoon
