May 21st, Latest forecast

  • 21 May 2020

A very warm day ahead, much warmer than originally expected due to a slow progression of the cold front, this means we may possibly see the warmest day of the year so far in some parts. There is the outside risk of a shower but generally it will be a mix of sunshine and broken cloud.
Temperature 24’c to 26’c in central and eastern parts but closer to 19’c in the west and south
Wind variable becoming SSW 6-12mph

Cloud increasing with a low risk of a shower. Later in the night a band of rain will move in from the west although this will be weakening as it does so. Feeling very warm for most of the night.
Temperature 18’c to 20’c but much later dropping to 14’c to 16’c
Wind S or SSE 6-12mph becoming SSW 14-26mph later
Rainfall 0-2mm (localised rainfall possible)

A rather cloudy day with only occasional bright or sunny spells and these will be very hazy. Much cooler than on recent days too with a strong breeze.
Temperature 15’c to 17’c
Wind WSW 21-38mph
