A very hot day across the island and although initially sunny, areas of cloud will push in from the south by early afternoon with the outside chance of a thundery shower although most places remaining dry.
By mid afternoon we will start to see a significant change in temperature and it will feel much, much cooler, at first in more western parts but slowly spreading eastwards through the afternoon along with low cloud and hill fog.

Wind SE 12-18mph becoming SW 15-26mph by late afternoon
Rainfall 0-2mm (localised rainfall possible)

A band of cloud with the risk of the odd shower will move through during the evening but this will clear to leave behind broken cloud and clear spells. Feeling much cooler and fresher than Thursday night.
Temperature 14’c to 16’c
Wind WSW 14-24mph becoming W 8-15mph

A fine start to the day with sunny spells and patchy cloud. Cloud amounts are likely to increase a little through the day, especially in more northern parts of the island and here we may also see the odd shower although the most of the island remaining dry.
