It was a warm night across the island with long clear spells and a moderate breeze. Our Shanklin station saw a minimum temperature of 17.2°C.
A hot and sunny day across the island with most places seeing unbroken sunshine, however towards central parts of the island we will see some cloud developing for a time this afternoon. The hottest areas will once again be towards Newport and Ryde, although elsewhere will still be very warm or hot at times.
Temperature 26-28°C widely but as high as the low 30’s towards more northeastern parts, although closer to 22°C on windward coasts
Wind variable 2-6mph becoming southwest 6-14mph although onshore sea breezes developing around the coasts
Another calm, clear and warm night ahead with a few rural mist patches developing by dawn.
