December 9th, Latest forecast
Overnight we saw fairly large rainfall totals once again and as expected it has led to further flooding in places. As we move through the day we are expecting to see further rises in water levels, especially on the Eastern Yar.
Early rain has now cleared and we are left with a mixture of cloud and the odd patchy of light rain and drizzle. As we move into the afternoon the cloud will begin to break and a few spells will develop, although still with areas of cloud moving through that may bring a few mostly light showers.
Wind west-southwest 17-35mph becoming west 22-39mph
Rainfall 24mm so far with less than 1mm likely to fall through the rest of the day
Long clear spells developing with just occasional areas of cloud. It will at least be dry though!
Wind west 26-52mph becoming west-southwest 16-38mph by dawn
A bright start to the day but cloud will quickly thicken up to bring rain by late morning and this continuing into the afternoon before clearing to scattered showers later in the day.
Wind south-southwest 18-34mph becoming west-southwest 25-48mph after midday then easing to 15-26mph by evening
