A fair amount of cloud around today, although as the day goes on the cloud will gradually thin, perhaps allowing some weak, hazy sunshine to develop during the afternoon. However, a layer of high cloud will generally remain across the area.

Wind: north, 5–9 mph, becoming northeast, 6–11 mph by midday, then turning east, 8–14 mph during the afternoon

TONIGHT

Clear spells at first, but further cloud will develop as we go through the night, with the risk of the odd shower moving up from the south, especially towards dawn.

Temperature: 14–16°C at first, but rising slightly later in the night to around 17–18°C by dawn

Wind: east, 10–17 mph, becoming 16–28 mph later

Rainfall: 0–5 mm, with localised rainfall possible (uncertainty over where any showers may hit, if at all)

TOMORROW

Perhaps the odd patch of mist and low cloud to start the day, along with areas of cloud and the odd shower. This should gradually clear to leave a mixture of sunny spells and areas of cloud moving through on and off during the day.

Temperature: 21–22°C, but perhaps reaching 23–24°C in western and northwestern parts of the Island during the afternoon

Wind: east, 16–28 mph at first, increasing to 19–32 mph by mid-morning, before turning a little more southeast during the afternoon and easing to 14–23 mph
