More rain and more gales!


Tonight will start off with a few clear spells but cloud and outbreaks of rain will soon push in from the west as the next weather system approaches. After midnight the rain will become persistent and quite heavy at times with low cloud and hill fog and also becoming very mild. Min temperature 5'c to 6'c in the east at first but closer to 8'c or 9'c in other areas. Temperatures rising through the night to end up closer to 11'c to 13'c generally.

Wind W 26-35mph becoming WSW 43-55mph gusting to 65mph in places later. Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with the risk of a few light showers here and there.

Towards the evening further rain will push in from the southwest which may turn heavy overnight. It will still be very mild for the time of year.

Max temperature 12'c to 13'c

Wind WSW 42-55mph dropping to 35-42mph for a time before backing round to the SW and increasing to 48-62mph with gusts of up to 70mph possible.

Sunday will start off with severe gales and rain but soon turning bright and showery with some heavy showers at times which will bring the risk of hail and thunder. YELLOW WEATHER WARNING
