Today has started off with some heavy outbreaks of rain, there has also been a little thunder too, especially in the west of the island. Bright spells will soon develop although further showers will follow, some may also be heavy with hail and still with a risk of thunder. As the afternoon goes on the worst of the showers should clear away leaving behind the odd scattered shower but also some bright or sunny spells.

Tonight will start mostly fine but cloud increasing and further rain will move acrosss the island as the night goes on with severe gales once again.

Min temperature 6'c to 7'c at first in the east but rising to around 9'c to 10'c
