Rain and Gales tonight, Rain then heavy Showers with Hail and Thunder risk later Tomorrow

Tonight will continue much as it has begun with outbreaks of rain which will turn heavier as the night goes on. The winds will soon increase to severe gale force too.

Min temperature 9'c to 11'c but perhaps as high as 12'c later in some places

Wind SW 42-56mph with gusts up to 65mph

Tomorrow will start wet and windy with severe gales and rain that may be occasionally heavy but by the afternoon the rain will clear away to the east which will allow some bright or sunny spells to develop. As the afternoon goes on we are expecting some showers to start pushing in from the WSW and these showers are likely to become heavy at times with the risk of hail and perhaps the odd rumble of thunder too. Max temperature 10'c to 12'c with the odd spot reaching 13'c

Wind SW 45-55mph with 65mph gusts at first becoming WSW 35-45mph but still with gusts up to 55-60mph around the heavier showers later.

Tomorrow night will continue showery with some very heavy showers mixed in, still with the risk of hail and perhaps a rumble or two of thunder. Min temperature 8'c-10'c in the west and south, 6'c-8'c in the centre north and east.

Wind WSW 35-45mph
