Temperature maps for 11pm and 6am as well as wind direction
Tonight
Clear spells at first with some patchy mostly thin cloud, this will allow temperatures to fall low enough for a ground frost in places and we may also see some mist patches developing in some low lying spots, especially in more central parts of the island although the mist will lift later in the night as the cloud starts to thicken.
Temperature 5'c to 6'c on windward coasts, 3'c to 5'c in most other places but as low as 1'c in some localised central parts leading to a ground frost. Temperatures rising later in the night to around 6 to 8'c 'c in the south and west, 4'c to 6'c in most other areas but a few pockets still down to around 2'c or 3'c in central/eastern parts but this will be very localised
Wind N 8-12mph on windward coasts, 2-6mph in other areas becoming SW after midnight and slowly increasing to 10-15mph by dawn
Rainfall 0mm
Tomorrow
A mostly cloudy start although there may be a few bright spells around sunrise or just after but these will soon move away to the east and rain will slowly spread in by late morning/early afternoon although it will be mostly light with drizzle and also some hill fog developing.
Temperature 9'c to 10'c
Wind SW 15-20mph at first increasing to 26-35mph by midday and 28-38mph during the afternoon
Rainfall 1-2mm
Tomorrow night will be mild and breezy with the risk of a little drizzle and hill fog.
