Rain soon clearing, brighter spells developing, cold tonight.

The rain will soon clear to allow some brighter spells to develop although some cloud with the odd shower may still be possible.

Temperature 5'c to 6'c

Wind SSE 41-48mph with 60mph gusts soon becoming NW 28-36mph

Tonight

The cloud will clear away to leave some long clear spells which will allow temperatures to drop giving a widespread frost across the island.

Some shallow mist and fog (possibly freezing fog) patches are likely to develop here and there although this wont be widespread. Later in the night the cloud will start to increase from the west.

Temperature -1'c to 1'c generally but a few low lying valleys and river basins may fall as low as -3'c

Wind NW 18-25mph becoming light and variable for a time before turning S 12-16mph by dawn

Rainfall 0mm

Tomorrow

A bright start but cloud increasing through the morning to bring rain by late morning. Turning windy once again.

Temperature 5'c to 6'c

Wind S 23-29mph becoming 31-39mph

Rainfall 0.8-1.4mm
