A fine day with sunny spells and patchy cloud although it will feel cold in the wind.

A cold and mostly clear night with just a little patchy cloud here and there. There will be a widespread frost although it may be a dry frost in many places and this means that we may see some black ice forming in more rural areas.

Temperature 1'c to 3'c in the far east and south, -1'c to 1'c in many other areas with a few sheltered spots down to -3'c (see map)

Wind E 22-26mph becoming ENE 18-22mph although around 5-8mph less in some central and western parts
