Tuesday and Wednesday

Sunny spells at times as well as snow flurries which may be heavy enough to give a covering in some places.

Thursday

Very cold to start the day with a few bright spells but cloud thickening up to bring snow by late morning. The snow may become heavy during the afternoon and could accumulate up to 6cm away from the coast before turning more to sleet later in the day and then rain overnight as some much milder air moves up from the south, this may give some localised flooding as the rain and thawing snow combine to give some very dangerous conditions. More on this over the coming days.
