A very hard frost in areas away from the windward coasts as well as a few mostly light snow flurries too as well as some long clear spells.

Temperature -4'c to -1'c, highest in the east and far southeast at -1'c but in central and western parts around -4'c to -3'c although a few localised spots could see -5'c

Wind NE 16-21mph

Snowfall 0-0.3cm

Tomorrow

A very cold day with sunny spells and snow flurries that could possibly become heavy for a time late morning/early afternoon and give some accumulations.

Temperature -1'c to 1'c

Wind NE 15-20mph becoming E 12-16mph late morning/early afternoon before backing round to the NE once again

Snowfall 0.3cm to 2cm

Tomorrow night

Cold once again with a few snow flurries but also some clear spells and a severe frost.

Temperature -6'c to -3'c but as low as -8'c if any snow cover does develop

Wind NE 12-16mph

Snowfall 0-0.2cm

Wednesday

Snow flurries from the start which could become heavy for a time and give between 2cm and 6cm in some places.

Temperature -2'c to 0'c

Wind E 28-32mph
