RAINFALL SEQUENCE FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS

Tonight

Cloud thickening up with rain soon arriving which will become persistent although unlikely to be heavy. There is also the risk of low cloud and hill fog, especially in more southern parts of the island later in the night.

Temperature 5'c to 7'c at first but becoming 8'c to 9'c later

Wind SW 10-15mph becoming S 25-30mph but WSW again around dawn

Rainfall 2-3mm

Tomorrow

A cloudy start with some showery rain as well as some low cloud and hill fog. Through the day some brighter spells are likely to develop although there is still the risk of a few showers.

Temperature 11'c to 13'c

Wind WSW 24-30mph AM becoming WNW 18-25mph PM

Rainfall 0.3-0.8mm Tomorrow night A mostly dry but cloudy start although later in the night we will see rain arriving from the west.

Temperature 3'c to 5'c for a time but rising during the second half of the night.

Wind NW 10-15mph becoming SSE 3-8mph but then increasing towards the end of the night 12-14mph

Rainfall 0.3-0.8mm
