TODAY'S APPROACHING CLOUD AREA

This afternoon Sunny spells at first but a veil of high thin cloud will slowly push in from the west turning the sunshine hazy as we go through the afternoon. There may also be some patchy cloudy bubbling up from time time, especially in more central, eastern and northern parts of the island.

Temperature 10'c to 12'c

Wind WSW 7-10mph becoming 12-15mph

Rainfall 0mm

TONIGHT'S RAIN AREA

Tonight

Cloud thickening up with rain soon arriving which will become persistent. There is also the risk of low cloud and hill fog, especially in more southern parts of the island.

Temperature 5'c to 7'c at first but becoming 8'c to 9'c later

Wind SW 10-15mph becoming S 25-30mph but WSW again around dawn

Rainfall 2-3mm

Tomorrow

A cloudy start with some showery rain as well as some low cloud and hill fog. Through the day some brighter spells are likely to develop although there is still the risk of a few showers.

Wind WSW 24-30mph AM becoming WNW 18-25mph PM
