Some bright or sunny spells but also the risk of a few showers moving in from the WNW. Low cloud and hill fog is still a risk in southern parts of the island.

Temperature 10'c to 12'c but closer to 9'c on windward coasts

Tonight

A few clearer spells possible at first but cloud thickening up through the night with rain arriving later which may turn heavy by dawn. Low cloud and hill fog in the south.

Temperature 5'c to 7'c generally but down to 3'c in a few sheltered spots at first

Wind WNW 15-22mph becoming light and variable for a time then NE 10-15mph by dawn

Tomorrow

A cold wet start to the day with heavy spells of rain which may turn to sleet for a time (mostly over the hills) although this should clear away to the east during the afternoon leaving behind some brighter spells as well as a few showers moving in on a fresh breeze. Low cloud and hill fog in the south should clear by mid afternoon.

Wind N 18-22mph becoming WNW 15-20mph
