This afternoon Bright spells soon developing although there is still the risk of the odd shower. Low cloud and hill fog will also soon clear.

Clear spells developing for a time although more cloud pushing in later with the risk of a few showers.

Temperature 2'c to 4'c generally although as low as 0'c in a few sheltered central parts and as high as 5'c on windward coasts

Wind WNW 18-22mph becoming SW 10-15mph later

Rainfall 0.2-0.8mm

Tomorrow

A bright start with the odd shower possible but cloud thickening by late morning with a band of showery and potentially heavy rain crossing the island from around midday or just after before clearing later on in the afternoon followed by some brightness to end the day but still with the risk of a few showers.

Temperature 7'c to 8'c possibly 9'c in a few central spots

Wind S 18-25mph increasing to 28-35mph through the middle of the day before turning SW 20-25mph during the afternoon

Rainfall 2-3mm
