Rain fell last night! Dry and very warm today, becoming hot and sunny next week.

Last night saw a few showery outbreaks of rain moving across the island with a few locations almost seeing up to 1mm of rainfall whilst other locations only saw a few spots. This was the first notable rainfall (apart from the odd localised shower) since the end of May.

Today

The rest of the day will see a mixture of sunny and cloudier spells but it will remain dry.

Temperature 24'c to 26'c but closer to 21'c on windward coasts

Wind variable with sea breezes developing then becoming SW 8-14mph

Tonight

A fine and dry night with a mix of clear spells and cloudier periods.

Temperature 15'c to 17'c generally but the larger towns hovering around 18'c and a few rural spots seeing 12'c

Wind WSW 2-8mph

Tomorrow

Another fine day and feeling very warm even though there is likely to be some cloud around at times.

Temperature 25'c to 27'c but closer to 22'c on windward coasts

Wind NW 5-9mph becoming SW 8-13mph

Monday - Friday

A continuation of mostly dry weather and turning very hot with temperatures possibly reaching the low 30's Celsius later in the week. Towards the end of the week some thundery showers seem likely but we will keep you updated on this potential.
