August 17th - Fine with broken cloud and sunny spells Today and Tomorrow
TODAY
After a cool, fresh start it will be a lovely day across the island with good sunny spells and occasional areas of cloud from time to time. During the afternoon we will see an area of high, thin cloud moving in from the west and this will make the sunshine quite hazy for a time. Temperature 20-21°C across most parts although closer to 18-19°C in coastal parts of the south and west
Wind northwest 6-12mph becoming west-southwest 12-22mph during the afternoon, however the wind will likely remain in the west-northwest towards more northern and eastern parts
TONIGHT
A mixture of broken cloud and clear spells overnight, although with the outside chance of a very light shower towards dawn. The dry air and continual breeze should mostly prevent any mist and fog patches from developing. Temperature 13-15°C with a few rural spots falloing closer to 12°C Wind west 10-19mph becoming west-northwest 6-12mph
TOMORROW
Another fine day with occasional areas of cloud but also good sunny spells. Becoming rather breezy. Temperature 19-21°C Wind west-northwest 8-17mph becoming west-southwest 15-27mph
