A windy night with patchy rain and drizzle clearing for a time before further rain and increasingly strong winds arrive later in the night. Temperature 16-17°C Wind southwest 20-32mph becoming 29-52mph gusting to 60mph in exposed parts of the west and south by dawn

A wet and windy start with gales along with low cloud and hill fog, but this will soon clear and the wind will drop by ;ate morning to give a generally fine afternoon with sunny spells and broken cloud.

Temperature 18-20°C Wind southwest 28-49mph gusting to 58mph but soon turning west 18-32mph by late morning then becoming west-southwest 15-25mph during the afternoon
