Apart from the odd bright spell early on it will be fairly cloudy with a few patches of rain around, especially later. Temperature 10-12°C Wind fresh southwest becoming strong to gale later



WEDNESDAY

A windy day with patchy rain at times, becoming much heavier later with very strong winds. Temperature 11-12°C Wind strong southwest becoming severe gale later



THURSDAY

Early rain, sleet and snow clearing quickly to give a fine day with long sunny spells but feeling cold. Temperature 3-4°C Wind moderate north


FRIDAY

Cold and mostly sunny with a low chance of a wintry shower. Temperature 2-3°C Wind moderate north-northeast FURTHER OUTLOOK

Looking cold at the start of the weekend but likely becoming milder later on with breezy and rather unsettled weather into the following week. 25% chance of the cold air winning out, 75% chance of the milder air taking hold.
