Morning update - A few showers likely today and again tomorrow

TODAY The odd shower this morning followed by a spell of sunshine and broken cloud, although as we move into the afternoon we will see the cloud thicken up once again as a band of showers moves in from the west, some of which may be heavy, although not everywhere will see the showers, with some places remaining dry. As we move into the evening we will see any remaining showers clear away. Temperature 19-21°C Wind south-southwest 14-25mph becoming 16-34mph before turning west-southwest 10-16mph this evening

Rainfall 0-5mm with highly localised amounts

TONIGHT

After a mostly dry start with clear spells we will see further showers developing, locally heavy by dawn. Temperature 13-15°C but closer to 17-18°C in the south and west Wind west-southwest 9-16mph becoming west 7-14mph for a time after midnight before turning southwest 9-17mph by dawn

Rainfall 0-2mm with localised rainfall possible

TOMORROW

A scattering of showers through the day but also with occasional sunny spells in between. Temperature 18-20°C Wind southwest or west-southwest 14-24mph becoming 18-34mph
