Morning update - Becoming pleasant and spring like today, much the same tomorrow

TODAY A fine, springlike day across most of the island with good sunny spells developing, although around channel coasts and hills we are likely to see some low cloud, mist and fog patches at times. Temperature 12-14°C with a few spots in central and northern parts as high as 15-16°C, although closer to 10°C where any low cloud or mist lingers Wind south 11-19mph becoming south-southeast 5-11mph

TONIGHT

Hill fog and coastal mist will become more widespread as the night goes on, affecting more inland parts and lower elevations later in the night. Temperature 9-10°C but a few rural spots falling as low as 7-8°C Wind south-southeast 8-14mph becoming 8-15mph later

TOMORROW

There is certainly a risk of some low cloud along with mist and fog in places to start the day, although this should gradually lift, allowing for a few sunny spells, but there is some uncertainty to how much cloud we will see through the day and this will have a big impact on the temperatures. Mist and fog is still possible around channel coasts with the risk of a little drizzle where any mist persists. Temperature 10-12°C but perhaps closer to 14-15°C where the cloud breaks Wind south 4-7mph becoming 8-14mph
