Morning update - Cloud breaking at times but also the odd shower today, with more cloud tomorrow and the odd showery patch of rain

TODAY

We will see areas of cloud this morning, perhaps enough for the odd shower to develop. The cloud will begin to break up through the afternoon, although there will still be the risk of the odd localised shower at first. Later in the afternoon, we're likely to see a lot more in the way of sunny spells developing, especially towards the end of the day.

Temperature: 21–22°C in the south and west, increasing to 23–24°C across central, northern and eastern parts.

Wind: West-northwest 10–17 mph, becoming west-southwest 15–27 mph during the afternoon.

Rainfall: 0–1 mm, with localised rainfall possible.

TONIGHT

Clear spells to start the night, but as the night goes on we will see more in the way of cloud developing, especially towards dawn. However, it should remain dry throughout.

Temperature: 16–18°C.

Wind: West to northwest 11–19 mph, becoming west 14–25 mph later.

TOMORROW

A mostly cloudy day, with a little patchy or showery rain moving through, mostly between late morning and early afternoon. After this clears away, we should see a few brighter spells developing as the afternoon goes on.

Temperature: 20–22°C in the south and west, with 23–24°C across central, northern and eastern parts, perhaps reaching 25°C in one or two spots in the north and east.

Wind: West 12–22 mph, increasing to 17–29 mph during the afternoon.

Rainfall: 0–1 mm, with localised rainfall possible.
