Morning update - Cloud breaking but with hill and coastal cloud/fog today and again tomorrow

A misty, drizzly start with low cloud and hill fog but this will lift somewhat to allow some brighter spells to develop, although western and southern parts may well hold on to the low cloud and hill fog, dipping down to sea level later. Temperature 17-19°C Wind southwest or west-southwest 14-26mph

TONIGHT

Low cloud with hill and coastal fog in the west and south will spread back across the island turning everywhere foggy, perhaps some very dense fog patches in places too, especially over high ground. Still with the risk of some patchy light drizzle in places. Temperature 14-15°C Wind west-southwest 8-15mph becoming southwest 4-9mph

TOMORROW

A foggy start in many places, especially over high ground with the risk of drizzle too. As the day goes on the fog will likely pull back to windward coasts, allowing some bright or even sunny spells in central, northern and northeastern parts, leaving western, southern and perhaps some eastern coasts foggy at times. Feeling warm and humid where the sun does break through, although there is some uncertainty on how much sunshine we will see. Temperature 22-24°C where the sun breaks through, 16-18°C elsewhere Wind south-southwest 6-12mph, but with onshore coastal breezes developing during the afternoon Rainfall less than 1mm
