Morning update - Cloud, occasional sun with the odd shower today and again tomorrow

A mixture of cloud and occasional sunny spells, but also with the risk of the odd shower as we move through the day.

Wind: .. West 2–5 mph, soon becoming southwest 10–19 mph, increasing to 14–26 mph during the afternoon

Rainfall: 0–1 mm, with localised rainfall possible

TONIGHT

The cloud will thicken further through the evening as an area of rain approaches from the west. This will affect us on and off through much of the night, although later in the night the rain should clear away to the east, with some clearer spells following in behind towards dawn.

Temperature: .. 16–17°C, dropping closer to 13–14°C after the rain clears later

Wind: .. Southwest 14–26 mph, increasing to 16–30 mph for a time, then turning west after midnight and slowly easing towards dawn, when it will be west 7–12 mph

Rainfall: 4–6 mm

TOMORROW

A bright start, but also with areas of cloud moving through from time to time, especially as we move into the afternoon, when we may well see the odd shower. These will be very localised.

Temperature: .. 19–21°C, from the southwest to the northeast across the Island

Wind: .. West 7–12 mph, becoming west-northwest 9–17 mph by mid-morning, then turning back more into the west during the afternoon

Rainfall: 0–2 mm, with localised rainfall possible
