Morning update - Cloud slowly breaking today, mostly cloudy tomorrow

A cloudy start to the day but the cloud will gradually break through the afternoon to allow some bright or sunny spells to develop. There is also the chance of the odd shower running westwards through the channel and these may clip the island from time to time, but many places should remain dry, especially the further north you are. Temperature 14-15°C Wind east-northeast 10-18mph becoming east 11-19mph

TONIGHT

A mixture of clear spells along with occasional cloudier conditions and just the odd shower, although later in the night we will see the cloud thickening up from the west. Temperature 12-14°C Wind east 12-20mph becoming southeast

TOMORROW

Any early brightness will soon fade as the cloud continues to gradually thicken from the west. Temperature 13-14°C Wind east-southeast 15-28mph
