Morning update - Cloudy with odd rain patch out west but heavier further east today, brighter with showers tomorrow

TODAY

A cloudy day with a few patches of light rain here and there out west but much heavier the further east you go. It will be rather windy at times, especially along many of the Walk the Wight routes. Temperature 15-17°C Wind north-northeast 18-30mph

Rainfall 1-3mm but locally as high as 5-8mm

TONIGHT

Any remaining cloud will soon clear away to give a cold, dry, clear night. We even see the risk of a slight frost in one or two rural spots. Temperature 4-6°C in general but as low as 2-3°C in a few sheltered rural spots

Wind northeast 14-25mph becoming north-northwest 6-12mph but 2-5mph inland

TOMORROW

After a cold, bright start we will see the cloud increasing through the day with some showers during the afternoon. Temperature 14-15°C Wind north-northwest 12-20mph becoming north 7-12mph later Rainfall 0-2mm with localised rainfall possible
