TODAY A fine, sunny but cold day across the island. Temperature 0-2°C but around 3°C on windward coasts Wind north-northwest 12-19mph
TONIGHT
A very cold night with a severe frost across the island. Ice is likely to form in harbours and perhaps even in a few gently flowing rivers too. Temperature -3°C to -5°C but as low as -7°C or -8°C in a few low lying rural spots Wind north-northwest 6-12mph becoming 4-7mph
TOMORROW
After a very cold, clear night with lots of ice in many places, we will see the cloud moving in and a rather rapid temperature rise through the day, perhaps even the odd shower by the end of the day. Temperature 2-4°C in the east and northeast but 4-6°C elsewhere and perhaps as high as 8°C along southern and western coasts Wind west 6-12mph becoming southwest 12-22mph by the end of the day
