A cold feeling day with plenty of cloud at first and the odd patch of light rain, although the cloud will gradually break up and clear from the north during the afternoon, leaving behind broken cloud, occasional sunny spells and the odd light shower. Temperature 7-8°C with the odd spot seeing 9°C Wind north-northeast 15-28mph becoming 12-20mph

TONIGHT

Further areas of cloud moving southwards through the night with occasional clearer spells here and there. A widespread frost is likely although mostly an invisible frost due to the wind and fairly dry air. Temperature 0-2°C Wind north 8-12mph

TOMORROW

A little early brightness but the cloud will soon thicken as a weak area of showery rain moves southwards, followed by brighter skies during the afternoon but also a few showers still possible with the risk of some wintriness mixed in. Temperature 6-8°C Wind north-northwest 9-16mph becoming north 8-14mph
