A cold day ahead with a freshing wind along with some patchy light rain in places that will become a little heavier later in the day, accompanied by sleet away from windward coasts and perhaps even a little snow over high ground in western parts of the island. Temperature 4-5°C but closer to 2-3°C under any rain or sleet

Continuing rather cold with occasional rain or sleet at times, especially at first, easing later but remaining cloudy. Temperature 2-4°C but as high as 5°C in the far east and south Wind northeast 15-28mph

A cold start with patchy rain and drizzle with hill sleet but this clearing during the afternoon and the temperatures rising slightly as the wind changes direction, allowing for a few cloud breaks to develop by the end of the day. Temperature 3-4°C becoming 5-6°C during the afternoon Wind northeast 14-28mph becoming southeast 12-22mph Rainfall 0-1mm
