Morning update - Fine and fresh today, turning wet later tomorrow

TODAY

A fine and rather pleasant day despite the temperature being rather low, but the sunshine and light winds will make it feel somewhat warmer than the thermometer would otherwise suggest. The afternoon will see some patchy cloud developing but staying dry. Temperature 13-14°C Wind northwest 5-12mph becoming west-southwest by evening

TONIGHT

Clear spells at first will allow the temperature to fall rather quickly, although this will only be temporary as the wind will pick up from the channel along with increasing amounts of cloud, lifting the temperature after midnight. Temperature 5-7°C quite widely but rising to 11-12°C by the end of the night although staying closer to 14°C around windward coasts throughout Wind southwest 4-7mph becoming south-southeast after midnight and increasing to 12-23mph by dawn

TOMORROW

Perhaps some early brightness but this soon fading as the cloud gradually thickens from the southwest. We may well see the odd rogue shower at any point through the morning and into the afternoon but most places missing these, although by late afternoon an area of more generalised rainfall will move in from the west along with increasingly strong winds. Temperature 13-15°C Wind south-southeast 16-28mph becoming 19-35mph by mid afternoon and increasing further to 24-46mph by the evening Rainfall 0-1mm with localised rainfall possible
