TODAY
A fine, sunny day is expected across the island, with just the occasional area of patchy cloud drifting through. Some patchy high cloud will also move in at times during the afternoon. It will feel pleasantly warm, especially across the north and east of the island, but somewhat cooler across the south and west as onshore breezes develop and increase in strength during the afternoon.
Temperature: 22 to 23°C across the north and east, 20 to 21°C across most other areas, but 19 to 20°C across the south and west.
Wind: Northwesterly 5 to 11 mph at first, becoming west to southwesterly 10 to 18 mph during the afternoon.
TONIGHT
A fine, dry night with long clear spells, although patches of cloud will move in from time to time. It will feel fresh and cool inland, but noticeably milder around windward coasts.
Temperature: 11 to 13°C across many areas, perhaps as low as 9 to 10°C in some low-lying rural spots and river valleys, but closer to 17 to 18°C around windward coasts.
Wind: Westerly 3 to 6 mph at first, becoming variable at 0 to 3 mph for a time, before turning southeasterly to east-southeasterly 4 to 7 mph during the early hours.
TOMORROW
Another fine day is expected across the island, although there will be a little more cloud around at times. There will still be plenty of sunshine, but it is likely to turn hazy at times as patchy areas of low and medium cloud drift across the island, especially during the afternoon. It will feel pleasantly warm, although somewhat cooler across the south, east and along the west coast as breezes come in off the sea.
Temperature: 25 to 26°C across northern and northwestern parts, 23 to 25°C across many other areas, but 21 to 23°C across the south, east and along the west coast.
Wind: Southeasterly 5 to 11 mph at first, increasing to 10 to 17 mph during the afternoon.
