TODAY After a fine start with sunny spells, we will see the cloud gradually increasing from the west as a large band of rainfall approaches for the evening. Temperature 8-9°C Wind south 19-35mph becoming south-southeast 22-40mph

TONIGHT

Rain at first, locally very heavy for a time before clearing away for a time during the second half of the night, although towards dawn we will see another area of rain approaching from the south. Temperature 6-8°C Wind south-southeast 24-45mph becoming south-southwest 10-18mph after midnight

TOMORROW

A cloudy start with rain soon arriving from the south, becoming quite heavy at times and will be persistent, only becoming a little more patchy during the afternoon. Temperature 9-10°C Wind southeast 15-26mph becoming 23-40mph for a time before turning south-southeast by mid morning and increasing to 28-55mph briefly around the middle of the day, then slowly easing to be 23-40mph by the end of the day Rainfall 9-12mm
