Morning update - Fine this morning but rain much later today, showers early and late tomorrow

TODAY

A mixture of sunny spells but with gradually increasing amounts of cloud which will bring the odd patch of rain by mid/late afternoon and some more persistent rain during the evening. Temperature 16-18°C Wind southwest 14-24mph

TONIGHT

Spells of rain becoming very heavy at times and staying with us (on and off) until the early hours. Some of the rain could locally be torrential and perhaps even thundery. Temperature 14-15°C Wind south-southwest 9-15mph becoming 14-21mph then turning west-southwest by dawn Rainfall 10-15mm with localised amounts as high as 20-30mm

TOMORROW

A mixture of sunny spells and few showers to start the day, followed by drier and brighter conditions for a time, however, heavy and sometimes thundery showers will be just to the north of the island running west to east and these will begin to affect us later in the afternoon for a time, before clearing away during the evening. Temperature 19-20°C in the north and east, 16-18°C elsewhere Wind west-southwest 14-23mph becoming 19-35mph by early afternoon but then turning west by late afternoon and slowly dropping Rainfall 0-3mm with localised rainfall possible
