TODAY
A fine, sunny day with just small amounts of patchy cloud at times. It will feel fresh and cool despite the sunshine, although sheltered from the wind it will feel pleasant enough. Temperature 11-13°C Wind southwest 20-36mph becoming 14-24mph later
TONIGHT
A cold and rather chilly night as the winds drop away, leading to a slight ground frost in a few places. Mist and fog patches are also likely in low lying rural parts. Temperature 3-5°C in general but a few rural parts could fall as low as 1-2°C
Wind south 5-9mph becoming variable 0-3mph

Any early mist will soon clear away to give another fine, sunny day with perhaps some patchy cloud developing towards central and northern parts during the late morning and into the afternoon. Temperature 14-16°C but closer to 11°C around windward coasts Wind north 3-6mph with onshore coastal breezes developing for a time by late morning before generally turning south-southeast 7-14mph
