TODAY
A few showers followed by more persistent rain by mid morning, although by mid afternoon it should mostly clear to the east with sunny spells and scattered showers following in behind. Temperature 15-16°C Wind southwest15-28mph becoming 23-45mph then turning west-southwest 28-50mph during the afternoon and slowly easing into the evening
Rainfall 2-4mm
TONIGHT
A few showers at first but these will become more frequent and heavy, especially later in the night and towards dawn where they may even be locally thundery with torrential downpours. Temperature 13-15°C Wind southwest 23-45mph becoming 20-40mph later
Rainfall 2-10mm with highly localised variations
TOMORROW
The day will dawn with heavy and perhaps thundery showers, although these will ease for a time by late morning and into the afternoon which allow for occasional sunny spells. As we move towards late afternoon and into the evening we see an increasing risk of showers once again, mostly towards the northern half of the island.
