A cloudy day with rain arriving during the afternoon with a few heavier pockets mixed in here and there. Temperature 9-10°C but rising to 12-13°C by the end of the day Wind northeast 4-8mph becoming south after midday then west-southwest by mid afternoon and increasing to 15-28mph by evening Rainfall 4-6mm

TONIGHT

Showery spells of rain at first, easing for a time before further showery rain develops and moves across our area. Temperature 12-13°C Wind west-southwest 26-45mph becoming north around dawn

TOMORROW

What was originally looking like a mostly sunny day will be a day of two halves. The overnight rain will linger for somewhat longer than earlier data suggested with cloudy skies and showery rain during the morning, turning sleety over the highest hills before clearing away to the south by mid afternoon, allowing the sun to break through for the final third of the day. Temperature 8-10°C at first but dropping to 3-5°C during the afternoon
