Morning update - Rain slowly easing with a little hilltop wintriness later, fresh and bright tomorrow
TODAY
After a mild, wet start the temperature will quickly fall into single figures and the rain will gradually ease by the middle of the day, perhaps with a little brightness, but still the odd patch of light rain and drizzle possible, followed by another short spell of rain, sleet and perhaps hill snow this evening. Temperature 10-11°C but falling to 5-6°C this afternoon Wind west-northwest 16-35mph becoming north 9-16mph this afternoon Rainfall 1-3mm
TONIGHT
The cloud will break and the temperature will fall as a slight frost develops across the island, although the temperatures wont fall too far due to the breeze. Temperature 0-2°C but closer to 3-4°C around windward coasts Wind north 10-18mph becoming west-northwest 7-16mph
TOMORROW
A fresh but bright day with sunny spells and just occasional patches of cloud drifting through. Temperature 5-6°C Wind northwest 12-20mph
