TODAY

A mostly cloudy start to the day, with some patchy rain or drizzle, although some heavier rain is likely as the morning develops. This should clear through around the middle of the day, leaving the afternoon mostly dry with somewhat brighter conditions, although there will still be some areas of cloud drifting through at times and perhaps the outside chance of a shower. However, a significant improvement over the morning.

Temperature: 18–19°C

Wind: west-southwest, 19–34 mph, becoming west or west-northwest, 17–34 mph during the afternoon Rainfall: 1–3 mm

TONIGHT

A few areas of cloud around, especially at first, although these will break up periodically through the night, giving some clearer spells in between.

Temperature: 13–14°C generally, closer to 16°C around western coasts, but perhaps as low as 11–12°C in the odd rural spot in eastern parts

Wind: west or west-northwest, 14–25 mph, becoming 11–19 mph later in the night

TOMORROW

A fairly bright start with some good sunny spells, but cloud will increase during the afternoon, perhaps bringing the odd patch of light rain towards evening.

Temperature: 17–18°C

Wind: west, 14–24 mph, becoming 18–34 mph during the afternoon

Rainfall: less than 1 mm
