Morning update - Scattered showers then rain today, windy with the odd shower tomorrow

TODAY After a bright start we will see the cloud increasing as a few scattered showers move across the island during the morning, followed by a large band of sometimes heavy rain arriving by mid afternoon. Temperature 9-10°C Wind south 6-12mph becoming 16-30mph by midday and increasing further to 26-45mph by the end of the day Rainfall 2-5mm

TONIGHT

Spells of heavy rain during the evening accompanied by some very strong winds, but this wont last long and by midnight we will see a mixture of heavy showers and occasional clearer spells. Temperature 10-12°C Wind south 28-55mph becoming southwest 22-45mph

TOMORROW

Morning showers will become fairly well scattered, although still plenty of cloud streaming in from the southwest, with only occasional brighter spells. Temperature 11-13°C Wind west-southwest 23-40mph becoming 25-45mph

Rainfall 0-2mm with localised rainfall possible
