TODAY

Heavy showers during the morning will become a little less frequent through the day, although they will become more frequent again as we move into the evening. Temperature 16-17°C Wind west-southwest 15-30mph becoming 20-42mph this afternoon Rainfall 2-8mm with highly localised variations (2.3mm already fallen at our Lake station)

TONIGHT

Heavy showers at first but these will mostly shift offshore, with just the far south of the island clipping one or two showers through the second half of the night. Temperature 12-15°C Wind west-southwest 16-32mph becoming west 12-22mph by dawn

Rainfall 0-5mm with localised rainfall likely

TOMORROW

Showers already to the south of the island will spread back across the island for a time, once again they will likely ease somewhat during the afternoon.
