Morning update - Showers developing today, dry with sunny spells tomorrow

TODAY
Sunny spells will give way to increasing amounts of cloud through the morning, which will bring showers as we move through the afternoon. Towards evening any showers will move away and clearer spells will return. Temperature 14-15°C but dropping to 10-11°C in any showers Wind northwest 11-18mph becoming north-northeast and dropping to 5-11mph later
Rainfall 1-3mm with locally variable amounts
TONIGHT
A cold, dry night with clear spells and patchy cloud. We will see the risk of a ground frost across many areas, especially sheltered low lying inland spots. Temperature 3-5°C but as low as 1-2°C in some sheltered rural spots and closer to 6-8°C where any breeze blows onshore
Wind northwest 2-6mph but variable 0-3mph inland
TOMORROW
A mostly fine day with sunny spells and some patchy cloud developing as the day goes on, although this will fade away towards evening. Temperature 14-16°C Wind west-northwest 4-9mph becoming west-southwest 17-28mph during the afternoon
