Morning update - Showery rain at times today, brighter tomorrow

TODAY
A few showery outbreaks of rain are possible at any time through the day, although the majority of these (at time of update) seem to be to the west of the island. Despite some brighter spells developing by late morning, we are likely to see some heavier showery outbreaks affecting the island later in the afternoon, possibly locally torrential. Low cloud and hill fog affecting windward coasts and hills at times. Feeling mild. Temperature 17-19°C Wind south-southeast 12-23mph Rainfall 2-8mm with locally variable amounts
TONIGHT
Heavy but showery outbreaks of rain through the evening and first part of the night, followed by scattered showers during the second half of the night. Low cloud and hill fog likely around windward coastal areas. Continuing rather mild.
