TODAY Sunny spells will give way to areas of cloud at times, perhaps thick enough for the odd light shower, but most places staying dry. Feeling pleasant in any sunshine. Temperature 6-7°C Wind west 17-28mph becoming west-northwest 12-21mph
Rainfall less than 1mm with localised rainfall possible
TONIGHT
Starting off fairly mild, but the temperature will drop towards dawn as we see some much colder air moving in from the north. Later in the night some patchy rain or sleet may well begin to reach the island. Temperature 2-3°C but dropping closer to 0°C by dawn Wind west-northwest 12-22mph
Rainfall 0-1mm
TOMORROW
A fairly cloudy start with some patchy sleet in places, perhaps turning to snow for a time, especially over high ground but this will soon clear away and leave behind some rather pleasant, sunny conditions and just the odd patch of cloud here and there. Temperature 4-6°C Wind west-northwest 12-21mph becoming northwest 11-16mph during the afternoon
