A hot day across the island with sunny spells but also occasional areas of cloud moving through which will bring the risk of the odd shower, perhaps even a thundery one later this afternoon and this evening, although any showers that develop will be well scattered, meaning that many places will remain dry throughout. Temperature 27-29°C in general but 30-32°C in the north and west of the island and closer to 21-23°C on windward coasts Wind east-southeast 8-15mph

TONIGHT

Any showers will clear away after midnight, but still with a fair amount of cloud drifting through, although this should also begin to clear as we approach dawn. Temperature 15-17°C Wind east-southeast 9-17mph becoming west 10-19mph after midnight

A much fresher day with sunny spells, occasional areas of cloud and a good fresh breeze. Temperature 19-21°C Wind west-southwest 14-22mph becoming 19-34mph during the afternoon
