TODAY

Today will start off fine with some good sunny spells, but cloud will gradually develop through the morning, increasing into the afternoon and perhaps becoming thick enough for the odd localised shower. There will still be a few sunny spells, although there will be much more in the way of cloud as the afternoon progresses. This will gradually clear away towards the evening.

Temperature: 18–20°C

Wind: west-northwest, 8–15 mph, becoming 12–23 mph, then 13–23 mph during the afternoon

Rainfall: less than 1 mm, with localised rainfall possible

TONIGHT

A lot of cloud around, although there will be the odd clear spell at first, but still with the risk of the odd shower. Later in the night, the cloud will thicken further with some showery rain coming in off the English Channel.

Temperature: perhaps as low as 13–14°C in a few places at first, rising to 15–17°C later in the night

Wind: west-northwest or west, 10–18 mph, increasing to 14–26 mph later in the night

Rainfall: 0–1 mm, with localised rainfall possible

TOMORROW

A cloudy start, with rain moving through at times during the morning, becoming heavy for a time. The rain will then clear away during the afternoon, allowing some sunny spells to break through by late afternoon.

Temperature: 18–19°C

Wind: west-southwest, 18–32 mph, becoming west-northwest, 15–28 mph during the afternoon

Rainfall: 4–6 mm
