Morning update - Sun then scattered showers both today and tomorrow. Feeling cold in that wind.

TODAY

After a sunny but cold start we will gradually see cloud developing through the morning to bring a few scattered afternoon showers, perhaps the odd heavy one locally with hail mixed in, although we will still see sunny spells between any showers. Temperature 13-14°C but closer to 15°C around windward coasts Wind northwest or west-northwest 14-25mph becoming 17-32mph for a time this afternoon

Rainfall 0-2mm with localised rainfall possible

TONIGHT

Any showers soon clearing away to give a dry but cold night with long clear spells. Temperature 6-8°C in general but one or two sheltered rural spots could fall as low as 4°C, although windward coasts closer to 9-10°C Wind northwest or west-northwest 11-19mph becoming 8-15mph

TOMORROW

Another cold but sunny start followed by clouds bubbling up once again to bring a few showers into the afternoon, although perhaps a little more cloud coverage than the day before. Temperature 13-15°C Wind northwest 11-18mph becoming north-northwest 14-24mph Rainfall 0-2mm with localised rainfall possible
